Mill Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Tissue Machine - October 8, 2005

Mill Owners, Union Leadership and Government Dignitaries Prepare to Break Ground for TM8

Mill employees and owners, government dignitaries, customers, vendors and many other special invited guests participated in the official groundbreaking ceremonies for the LPT's new Tissue machine.  Guest speakers included Governor Baldacci, representatives from Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins' offices, Lincoln Town Manager Glenn Aho, Union President Steve Corriveau, and many more.  The proceedings concluded with the ceremonial first shovels full of dirt, followed by refreshments for all.
