Lincoln Paper and Tissue, LLC Starts New Tissue Machine - August 28, 2006
Lincoln Paper and Tissue LLC announced this week the commercial startup of their new tissue machine in Lincoln, ME.
Lincoln’s new tissue machine is a state-of-the-art, high speed Metso Crescent Former, with 104” trim. The company anticipates production rates of 110 tons per day, with primary grade focus on white towel and napkin. The company will source all pulp fiber from their own bleached kraft pulp mill and with the new machine addition, will balance pulp production to tissue and fine paper production capacity. A formal dedication is scheduled for early October.
