Human Resource Clerk

Position: Human Resource Clerk
Type: Full-time
Salary range: To be determined
Education: High School Diploma.  Further education or an Associates Degree in related field preferred. 

Experience: Qualified applicant must have experience in a similar work environment. 

Job Description:
This full-time position will be responsible for daily benefit administration, inputting and maintaining software programs for payroll purposes and workers compensation tracking as well as general clerical duties. This position must also cross train on manpower scheduling system and other clerical positions.

Required Skills:
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and email communications required.  

Candidate must:

  • Be able to handle multiple duties at one time.
  • Be very organized, meticulous, attention to detail
  • Be self motivated and self sufficient
  • Be capable of analyzing problems, determining courses of action and arriving at logical solutions
  • Be adaptable to changing priorities and duties.
  • Exhibit initiative to look for continuous improvement in  performance, systems and procedures
  • Outgoing and friendly, proven record of excellent communication and public relations skills in order to deal with employees of all levels of the organization on a daily basis
  • Be able to walk  throughout the operating areas of the plant, climb stairs, carry mail, use phone and computer.
  • Be able to work 8 or more hours/day, Monday through Friday with potential for required overtime.
