Position: Production Workers / Winder Operators
Type: Full-time
Average Starting wage: $16.54 - $19.08
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Job Description:
Responsible individuals will be trained to fill current and future openings in the tissue and paper making process. These positions require workers that are capable of operating intricate machines and processes. Job candidates must be willing and able to work the required rotating shift-work of the 24-hour seven-day per week operation. This includes Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, overtime, call-ins, and either 12 or 8 hour shifts. Working overtime is a requirement of the job.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to read and write English
- 3-5 years of steady work experience (industrial manufacturing and/or military experience) or an Associates Degree in a Pulp & Paper or vocational / technical degree
Required Skills:
Sound knowledge of mathematics, excellent communication and reading skills, and strong reasoning ability. Ability to work in team environment and proven troubleshooting capability.
Hiring / Screening Process
Completion of a pre-employment test is required by ALL candidates in order to be considered for employment.
* Testing takes approximately 2 hours to complete.

* The results of the test are the property of Lincoln Paper and Tissue and will not be shared with any outside source including the candidate.
