Electrical/Instrumentation Craftpersons
Position: Electrical / Instrumentation Craftperson
Type: Full-time
Salary range: $17.00 - 22.00
Lincoln Paper and Tissue is looking to fill current and future openings with responsible Journeyman E/I Person to work in a tissue and paper manufacturing environment.
Lincoln Paper and Tissue operates 24 hours / day x 7 days / week. Maintenance employees are assigned to either an 8-hour shift schedule (Monday – Friday) or a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Candidates must be willing to work whatever shift they are assigned to including nights, weekends and holidays as well as volunteer and work overtime shifts.
Successful candidates should posses the following:
- Sound knowledge of mathematics
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive reading skills
- Applied reasoning ability
- Proven troubleshooting capability
- Ability to work in a team environment
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of a Certified Electrical Apprenticeship Program or Two year technical college degree in industrial power technology
- Knowledge of AC & DC drives, and power distribution systems
- Expertise with Allen Bradley PLC control systems
- Extensive knowledge in electrical/instrumentation systems including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Expertise with PC based programs (Windows based, Microsoft Office, etc)
- Expertise in reading and understanding electrical control and instrumentation loop drawings
- Minimum of 4 years Experience working in pulp and paper or industrial environment
